I come bearing two recommendations.
From an eight-minute thesis to a feature film, Emma Seligman’s directorial debut “Shiva Baby” is the best movie I have seen all year. Bisexual chaos, overwhelming Jewish family energy, seeking arrangements realness, horror-like stress, and Dianna Agron as a shiksa milf. What’s not to love? Look at that promotional poster!

Adapted from the 2014 NYT Best Seller by Emily Spivack, “Worn Stories” is an eight episode Netflix original (produced by Jenji Kohan) that blew me away. I love the relationship we have with clothes and this series shared individual stories and experiences relating to clothes, in such a great way. (Episode 1 was my favorite, and I still have two episodes left, but I am in good faith recommending this).
