I attended fifth and sixth grade 30 minutes away from where I lived. My Mom would usually drive my brother and I to school and she would always play one of the albums below. I revist these albums a lot. I listen to Dan Deacon when I write, and I listen to the Girl Talk mashups when I get ready to go out or when I drive out east (All Day lasts for the entire drive). I think it is cool to look back on that time in my life and think about all of the weird/great music my parents would play for us. Especially Girl Talk, introducing me to even more music through snippets and samples. I used to get very upset when my parents would go to Girl Talk and Dan Deacon concerts, always 21+ and always the best shows.

I think I would still jump at the chance to go. Any takers? They just don’t make them like this anymore!
